Whiskey Advent Calendar – Caol Ila 12 Year

Quite possibly the best 12 Year single malt regularly available on the market, Caol Ila is a wonderfully balanced peated whisky from northern Islay, close to the Isle of Jura. A big favorite dram of the R&R bar staff, Caol Ila is peaty and fresh, with a bright sea air brine nose with a hint of fresh melon and orchard fruit. The palate is malty and creamy, with well-balanced peat and a rich finish.
